Job Title: Materials Manager

SUMMARY
The Materials Manager will be responsible for managing a mix of
supply chain activities. They will be tasked with determining and deploying
effective strategies to maintain and improve the supply and control of materials.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the materials team consisting of purchasing, inventory, receiving and shipping functions.
- Working collaboratively with other departments.
- Ensure material availability to meet the production schedule.
- Inventory management and control.
- Maintain Vendor Relationships.
- Scrutinise the supply chain and deliver improvements and cost reductions.
- Ensure adherence and compliance with company policies.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Degree in business or other related discipline.
- At least 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain roles, ideally within the electronics industry.
- Have proficient knowledge of supply chain risk management, supplier relationship management, purchasing, planning, inventory control, shipping and policies and procedures.
- Must have proven organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritise, organise and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
