Job Title: Stores Operator

SUMMARY

The Stores Operator will join a team responsible for efficiently managing inventory of electronic and mechanical components plus subassemblies, finished product and consumables. We are looking for a committed and hardworking person to join our materials team in a fast moving environment.

 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Goods Inwards – check and verify incoming goods prior to system receipt
  • Locate all stock correctly
  • Picking works order kits for production
  • Issuing of parts
  • Maintain stock accuracy
  • Perform stock counting as required
  • Deal with queries from production staff
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of consumable items
  • Follow company processes and procedures
  • Any other related duties as required

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous Stores experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of integrated computer systems
  • Manual handling experience essential
  • Forklift license would be an advantage

 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Strong teamwork background
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Be organised with good attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Numeracy and accuracy
  • Understanding of Health & Safety practices
  • Multitask effectively
